Our staff works as a team to provide the most up-to-date medical expertise with old-fashioned courtesy and compassion.

Dr. Hayden is a member of Rhode Island Primary Care. This is a network of over 100 Primary care physicians and specialists throughout Rhode Island. Our group is at the forefront of technology and the Blue Cross initiative for the "Patient-Centered Medical Home". This an effort to improve the overall care of our diabetic and chronically ill patients by providing many more services at the point of care...the physician's office. We now have a diabetic nurse on site weekly, as well as Trish, our RN, who is a certified diabetes educator.

We are now using an Electronic Medical record, known as SOAPWare, that provides interconnectivity with any other SureScripts product throughout the US...to enhance the transfer of information and charts.

We also use Docuportal, an enhanced, HIPAA-compliant email and faxing site...designed to deliver results in a secure manner.

All prescriptions are sent electronically through SureScripts to your pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Benefits Company (eg CVS/Caremark, MEDCO, Express Scripts, etc).
